Cuireann sé an-áthas orm a chur in iúl daoibh go mbeidh an Cóineartú á cheiliúradh ag a Rang a 6 ar an 24 Lúnasa ag a 6i.n in Ardeaglais Naomh Mel. Táimid go leir ag súil go mór le bualadh libh arís ag an ócáid speisialta sin.
As per text sent out today, Fr Michael has been in contact to confirm the Confirmation will take place on Monday 24th August at 6pm in St Mel's Cathedral. It will be the first time the Confirmation will be celebrated as Gaeilge, as we will not share the ceremony with another school.
There will be 8 people permitted per seat, the confirmation candidate, and 7 others (family/sponsor).
We will be in contact again as we will need two pupils to do the readings, two to say Prayers of Faithful and two pupils to bring up the gifts.
We will also need your child's confirmation name and their place of baptism.
I hope you all enjoyed Slán le Rang a 6 last week. It was fantastic to see Rang a 6 back together again and we look forward to once again seeing them at the Cóineartú/Confirmation in August.
